Aden governor survives airport attack during reconstruction and missile events

The article discusses an attempt to target Aden Governor, Abdul Rahman Sheikh, with a ballistic missile during his field tour after leaving Aden Airport. This incident occurs within the context of the security challenges facing the city since 2015, where security conditions intertwine with efforts to restore life and develop projects. The governor confirmed that security measures include avoiding long stays at specific sites and not announcing visits in advance to ensure his safety amid ongoing Houthi attacks on the city's properties using drones and missiles. He also pointed out that these security disruptions do not halt the efforts for reform and service provision, despite the deterioration of essential services, especially in the sectors of gas, electricity, and medicine. These sectors are affected by the war blockade, increased demand, and reduced supplies. International and local efforts continue to support stability restoration and the enhancement of basic services.
