The Minister of Foreign Trade and Export Promotion, Kamel Rzig, launched the first export operation of "Made in Algeria" home appliance products to European and Arab markets. This includes the export of portable air conditioners to Spain for the first time, as well as fixed air conditioners to Tunisia, and refrigerators and freezers to Tunisia, Libya, and Mauritania. These steps demonstrate the capabilities of Algerian industry to enter international markets, reaffirm European confidence in the quality of the products, and reflect positively on diversifying the national economy and increasing competitiveness. These operations are direct results of policies supporting domestic production and industrial investment, with extensive export opportunities reaching over 250,000 units of Condor air conditioners, benefiting from competitive advantages such as geographical proximity and cost savings.
