The security authorities of Chlef Province succeeded in dismantling four organized criminal networks operating between Chlef and several western provinces. The operations resulted in the detention of 12 individuals, including three women. Approximately 9 kilograms of processed cannabis and 225.5 grams of cocaine were seized, along with 3,240 capsules of foreign-made psychotropic substances containing “Pregabalin.” Some of these were found hidden inside vehicles used for trafficking and distribution. The interventions led to the suspects being brought before the judiciary for prosecution in accordance with the law, following targeted and field operations carried out under the supervision of the competent authorities.
