Units of the Regional National Gendarmerie Battalion in Ménéa managed to arrest two individuals after a video circulated showing one of them pouring an acidic substance into a water trough intended for animals. He claimed that the water was meant for camels on his farm. The location was identified through investigations, and both the person in the video and the cameraman were detained, with the filming device seized. An investigation is currently ongoing to refer them to the appropriate judicial authorities.
