The Timimoun International Short Film Festival has launched the "Anis Jaad Creative Residency" with the aim of developing short narrative film projects, in tribute to his contributions to Algerian cinema. The initiative includes a training program covering screenplay development and directing, targeting filmmakers aged 18 and above, whether inside or outside Algeria. The program encompasses stages from idea development to presenting the final project by 2027. It features three phases beginning in Algeria and concluding with screenings and professional interviews, along with the "Anis Jaad Development Grant" awarded to the best project to support production and film completion.
