Fear is within, not AI
The article presents the remarks of visual artist and self-taught designer Shafiq Rwaq regarding the risks of relying on artificial intelligence techniques in the creation of movie posters. He emphasized that, despite AI's ability to produce smooth and eye-catching images, it lacks the human spirit and spontaneous touch that foster genuine creativity. This deficiency threatens the identity of the artwork and strips it of psychological and cultural depth. He clarified that film poster design is an art form in its own right, traditionally dependent on the skills of poster artists. He warned that the ease of designing posters with AI could lead to a loss of artistic appeal for films and a deterioration of visual identity. Finally, he called for imposing strict limits on the use of such technologies to ensure the preservation of the creative and human essence in the filmmaking industry.
