Efforts to recover victims' bodies in Ceuta continue
The Spanish authorities continue their search in the sea off Ceuta for the bodies of drowning victims during the crossing of tens of thousands of migrants from Morocco to Spanish Ceuta. So far, 67 bodies have been recovered out of approximately 60,000 migrants who swam across during Thursday and Friday. Most of the migrants have voluntarily returned to Morocco, although search efforts are ongoing, with an expected capacity to accommodate up to 200 bodies in the area. This operation has involved millions of migrants attempting to reach the European Union, reflecting a crisis of mass migration from Morocco to Ceuta.
