African Parliament leader proposes model laws
The President of the African Parliament, Dr. Fateh Boutaieb, launched three model laws to strengthen the alignment of national legislations with continental commitments and to support the implementation of Africa's Agenda 2063. This initiative is part of the African Parliament’s efforts to develop practical legislative tools that help member countries modernize their laws in accordance with the continent's priorities, while respecting national sovereignty and the uniqueness of each legal system. The model laws include the Gender Equality Law, the Labor Migration Law, and the Sustainable Land Management Law. Their aim is to support sustainable development, promote African integration, and achieve the objectives of the continental agenda.
