University studies for inmates in Algeria will begin remotely on Wednesday for the 2026–2027 academic year, with bachelor’s and master’s programs. The launch ceremony will take place at the Boussouf Rehabilitation Facility, which falls under the Constantine Judicial Council, under the supervision of officials from the Prison Administration and the University of Continuing Education. The initiative aims to enable inmates to continue their education and improve their prospects for social and professional reintegration after release.
