Algerian consular missions abroad commemorated the 72nd anniversary of the outbreak of the Liberation Revolution, with the participation of Sofiane Chaib, Secretary of State for the National Community Abroad. He praised the community’s role in supporting the revolution and underscored the importance of preserving national memory. The occasion also saw the launch of an initiative to honor men and women who fought in the revolution and now live abroad. It began with the presentation of certificates of recognition in the consular districts of Strasbourg, Metz and Besançon, and is set to continue periodically and expand to other districts.
