Thousands head home as Spain faces new heatwave
Spain and France are experiencing severe wildfires amid a heatwave, with authorities allowing thousands of evacuees to return home in parts of Spain. The wildfire in Spain's Ávila province has burned over 43,000 hectares and is the largest in Spanish history, while fires continue to threaten regions in France and neighboring countries. Officials warn hotter temperatures and dry winds may cause re-ignitions, with efforts focused on containment and safety.
