Premier League Chief Criticizes FIFA Over World Cup
Premier League chief executive Richard Masters criticized Fifa president Gianni Infantino's plan to sell a stake in the World Cup, calling it a self-inflicted wound that undermines the organization’s integrity. He supported the English Football Association’s decision to withdraw support for Infantino and emphasized the need for a unifying "unity candidate" to reform Fifa. Masters also highlighted concerns over Fifa’s handling of player discipline and ongoing investigations into Manchester City’s financial rule breaches.
