Judge halts FBI headquarters move
A U.S. judge has blocked the Trump administration's attempt to move the FBI headquarters to the Reagan building in Washington. The decision follows a dispute over the chosen Maryland site in Greenbelt, which was approved during the Biden administration, with Trump appointees seeking to reverse that plan. The court ruled the move was unlawful, maintaining the existing plan for the Maryland location and preventing the use of funds for relocating or renovating the Reagan building. Maryland and Prince George’s County had invested significant effort and resources into establishing the new headquarters in Greenbelt.
