Yankee Trader started as wholesale to fairs
Yankee Trader was a wholesale and retail store in Columbus that operated from the 1940s until 2010, initially supplying carnival prizes and later selling party favors and novelty items to the public. Founded by Bob Holler and later run by his wife Edie Weinstock until her death in 2000, the store contributed to the local community and the Short North corridor's development. The building was renovated in 2012 for mixed uses, including offices and restaurants, maintaining a connection to the store’s history through its ownership name, Yankee Brothers LLC.
