Sir Chris Bryant to ban Drumcree parade
Northern Ireland Secretary Sir Chris Bryant has decided to ban the contentious Orange Order parade at Drumcree after ongoing protests and threats of violence. The decision follows a nearly two-week deadlock between residents and the Orange Order, with police cautioning that allowing the march could lead to serious disorder. The ban has been welcomed by some political groups and marks a significant step in addressing longstanding tensions over the parade.
