Michael Douglas' Rise from NYC to Mallorca
Michael Douglas described his childhood homes, including a Greenwich Village apartment and a house in Los Angeles, highlighting his family's relocations due to his father Kirk Douglas's acting career. As an adult, Douglas owns residences in New York and Mallorca, including a Spanish estate purchased with his first wife, which they later bought out her share of; he now shares the property with his wife, Catherine Zeta-Jones. The couple values the estate’s tranquility and privacy, and they have also been trying to sell their historic Hudson River mansion in New York.
