Blake Griffin's Clippers shirt mishap persists
Blake Griffin reflected on a controversial “Pioneers” shirt worn by Los Angeles Clippers staff in 2017, which featured Griffin alongside historical and cultural icons. The shirt, intended to promote Griffin as a “Clipper for life,” was later viewed as problematic, and Griffin admitted to forgetting some of the faces depicted. After being traded in 2018, Griffin retired from basketball after the 2023 season and is now beginning his second year as an NBA analyst on Amazon Prime Video.
