Dancing with the Stars explains Val's suspension
Val Chmerkovskiy was suspended from "Dancing with the Stars" after posting a social media remark implying he wanted to slap judge Carrie Ann Inaba, referencing the 2022 Oscars incident involving Will Smith. He was replaced by Alan Bersten to dance with Jenna Dewan during Dedication Night. Chmerkovskiy apologized but was kept off the show for the week to uphold the show's standards.
