Federal immigration agents reportedly detained two people late Friday during an anti-ICE demonstration outside Adventist White Memorial Hospital in Boyle Heights, Los Angeles. Video showed officers pinning one person to the sidewalk; an agent said the person was being arrested for assaulting a federal officer, but neither the Department of Homeland Security nor LAPD confirmed the detentions. LAPD said its officers did not participate in immigration enforcement, while the hospital said federal agents blocked its ambulance entrance without authorization or request.
