An Arab Islamic ministerial meeting was held, condemning Israeli policies and measures in occupied Jerusalem. It announced the launch of a joint movement to confront these actions and to support Jerusalem as part of occupied Palestinian territories. The meeting emphasized that East Jerusalem is a Palestinian capital that should be free and independent within the borders of 1967, based on a two-state solution and UN resolutions. The participants also reaffirmed their rejection of all Israeli violations of holy sites, asserting that Al-Aqsa Mosque and its legal boundaries are solely under the administration of the Jordanian Waqf. They stressed the importance of safeguarding the city's Arab, Islamic, and Christian identity and supporting the resilience of Palestinians in the face of Israeli escalation.
