Iran unveils new footage of Mas'oud Khamenei after absence
Iranian media outlets have for the first time published a short video of Mohammad Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of Iran, after a five-month absence. The clip shows him during a religious teaching session, according to the "Mehr" Agency. This appearance comes amid speculation about Khamenei's health and concerns over its deterioration, especially after his absence from his father's funeral ceremonies and several official events. His stature holds a key position within the Iranian system. The video, approximately 13 seconds long, did not specify the date or location of filming, making it difficult to determine his health condition or how often he appears publicly. Iran has witnessed rising rumors about the worsening of Khamenei's health, amidst U.S. and Israeli intelligence efforts to locate him, and his ongoing absence continues to be a burden on the regime.
