Bahrain at 2026 Space Conference

The Bahrain Agency for Space participated in the 2026 International Space Navigation Conference in Antalya, Turkey, under the slogan "The World Needs More Space." The delegation was led by His Excellency Dr. Mohamed Ibrahim Al-Asiri, and presented 13 scientific papers showcasing the agency's research and development technologies. Additionally, the delegation took part in key meetings such as the Global Space Leaders Summit and the Fifth Meeting of Space Agency Heads. The team also held dialogue sessions with experts and space companies regarding engineering technologies and software that support space exploration. They praised Bahrain’s international standing in science and technology by strengthening cooperation and implementing joint projects. This participation reflects the Kingdom’s keenness to highlight its position in space sciences and to advance sustainable development efforts through technology and innovation.
