Settlers Target European Diplomatic and French Mayor

Israeli settlers attacked European diplomats during their visit in the West Bank, physically assaulting a French mayor who was accompanying them, amid escalating violence against Palestinians during the olive harvest season. The mayor sustained minor injuries and did not require hospitalization. Both the French and Belgian governments condemned the incident and called on the Israeli police to investigate and hold those responsible accountable. This attack is viewed as an escalation of ongoing violence, with international calls for accountability of the perpetrators and efforts to restore order.
