Batelco Mazad Renew Pact
Batelco, a Beyon company, and Mazad renewed their partnership to manage and repurpose Batelco assets no longer in use, on the sidelines of the Gulf Gateway Forum 2026. Since the beginning of the year, more than 100,000 items have been collected from over 1,000 sites across Bahrain. They weighed approximately 300 tonnes and had a total book value of BHD 2.2 million. All assets sold were reused, with none sent to landfill. Reuse and materials recovery efforts also helped avoid around 1,000 tonnes of carbon emissions.
