Abdel Halim Hafez Birthday and Soad Hosny Death
On his birthday, it is remembered that Abdel Halim Hafez and the death of Souad Hosni are two artistic icons who left a significant mark on Egyptian and Arab music and cinema. Although the former began his career a decade before the latter, their popular success coincided in the 1950s and 1960s, with Al-Andaleeb becoming a symbol of dreams and youth, while Souad Hosni emerged as a talented and versatile actress. The only cinematic meeting between them was in the film "Girls and Summer" in 1960, which remains their only work together and is engraved in memory as part of Arab artistic history.
