Chinese doctor switches careers to food and singing
Chinese doctor Liu Zihan, who holds a Ph.D. in medicine and previously worked at a prestigious hospital, refused to continue down the traditional career path and decided to leave it after years of work and academic degrees. After resigning in February 2026, she began working independently, regularly delivering food, selling breakfast meals, performing musical acts, and exploring new experiences that excite her and help fund her life. Liu believes that life is not measured solely by degrees and status, but by the values of human relationships and personal experiences. Currently, she aspires to organize musical events and turn her journey into a film, convinced that happiness lies in exploring diverse life paths that resonate with her true self.
