Yasmine Sabri in Mohamed Sami's new series
Jasmine Sabri has ended her long-standing disagreements with director Mohamed Sami, announcing her participation in the starring role of the series "Tamkeen," which is scheduled to air in Ramadan 2027. This marks a return to collaboration between them after years of tension and criticism. The series focuses on a sensitive issue involving a police officer and long-standing family secrets, inspired by real events that have taken place in Egypt. This step comes after escalating conflicts between Jasmine and Sami, which included Sami accusing her of receiving a lesser role in previous works and rejecting the idea of working together again. Now, it seems all parties have moved past the crises, and this collaboration is seen as a sign of improved relations and the overcoming of past disagreements.
