Security forces in Giza arrested two women after an elderly man in Boulaq Dakrour complained that they had drugged and robbed him. In his report, he said they had convinced him that he was afflicted by the evil eye and that they could cure him. They asked him to bring his money, then stole it while he was distracted. The two suspects admitted to the crime and directed police to a tuk-tuk and two motorcycles, which police said had been bought with the proceeds of the theft. Legal proceedings were taken against them.
