Modrić targets trophies
Luka Modrić said after Milan’s 3–1 win over Inter in the Milan derby that the team had played its best match of the season, stressing that they needed to focus on their next game rather than complain about setbacks. He said Milan were improving and adapting to new tactical ideas, but needed to limit their dips in form and avoid unnecessary defeats if they wanted to compete for titles. The win took Milan to 21 points after 10 rounds, placing them fourth, four points behind leaders Inter and Lazio.
