Dounia Samir Ghanem revealed that her album’s title, *Al-Dalal*, came about by chance. Composer Amr Mostafa repeated the word while working on one of the songs, inspiring lyricist Ayman Bahgat Kamar to write a song with the same title. She chose it for the album as a tribute to her late mother, Dalal Abdel Aziz, and because it reflects feelings explored in the work, such as affection and tenderness. Released on October 23, 2026, the album features eight songs and marks Dounia’s return to releasing albums after *Wahda Tania Khalis* in 2013.
