On November 3, 2026, Mohamed Ramadan sent Ahmed El Awady a friendly message on Facebook, praising El Awady’s love for his fans and wishing him success with his series *Sultan al-Deeb*. But he noted that he had landed leading roles before El Awady, saying: “In age, you’re my big brother; when it comes to leading roles, I’m your big brother.” The message came after the two stars had traded pointed remarks during October, as they prepared for the 2027 Ramadan season: Ramadan will star in *Ashmawy*, while El Awady will star in *Sultan al-Deeb*. It remains unclear whether the message will put an end to their back-and-forth and open a new chapter, or whether it is simply a new form of rivalry.
