Siri vs ChatGPT Competition
Apple is competing with ChatGPT in developing and enhancing its voice assistant Siri, as it introduces the new Siri AI system capable of interacting with users more intelligently and flexibly. The new system focuses on providing general advice, as well as reading personal data stored on the device such as messages, emails, and notes, while improving its ability to understand and summarize content. Although ChatGPT excels in integration with external platforms and performing complex productivity tasks, such as managing appointments and generating code, it lacks access to local data on the device unless granted permission by the user. The company aims to improve integration across Apple’s devices and deliver a smoother user experience, with an emphasis on meeting the needs of voice interaction and personal data management.
