Gold prices in the UAE on Thursday, August 6, 2026, experienced a significant increase across all denominations, influenced by the decline of the dollar and the decrease in US Treasury bond yields. Gains have continued for the fourth consecutive day, with the price of a gram of 24-karat gold reaching 502.1 dirhams ($136.8), and the price of an ounce of gold reaching 15,617.2 dirhams ($4,255.4). Globally, gold reached its highest level in seven weeks, with the price per ounce surpassing $4,300 due to the dollar's weakness and falling US Treasury yields, which increased its allure for investors.
