Saudi Aramco lowered its official selling price for its light Arab crude oil aimed at Asia in September, with a discount ranging from $0.5 to $2 per barrel compared to the Dubai/Oman benchmark. The discount settled at $2 per barrel, compared to a $1.5 discount in August. This adjustment comes amid OPEC+'s efforts to reintroduce some production into the market, with an expected increase in supplies of around 188,000 barrels per day. The global oil markets remain cautious, influenced by geopolitical concerns and developments in demand and supply.
