Israel relocates Qalandiya center to settlement
The Israeli Ministry of National Security announced the start of a procedure to evacuate the Qalandiya Vocational Training Center operated by UNRWA in East Jerusalem, amid Palestinian condemnations and calls for urgent international action. The source reported that Israeli forces closed roads and deployed troops inside the center, which provides training for around 340 Palestinians annually, and raised the Israeli flag in its courtyard. Israel states that there are plans to build a new complex in the area and accuses UNRWA of providing cover for Hamas, while Palestine condemned these measures and called on the Security Council to intervene to stop the assaults.
