The investigation authorities at the Second Shubra El-Kheima Police Department in Qalyubia have detained five suspects for four days pending further investigation. They are accused of assaulting a dentist inside a medical center, with one of them having tested positive for drug use. The incident stems from a video circulating on social media showing women complaining about the assault. Investigations revealed that the attack occurred after the dentist refused to hand over extracted teeth in accordance with infection control procedures, which led to a confrontation resulting in a fractured forearm and other injuries to the dentist. Security forces are continuing their investigation to clarify the circumstances and reasons behind the incident, following the apprehension of the suspects and the necessary testing.
