Israel widens strikes in southern Lebanon

The Israeli forces continue to target towns in southern Lebanon, particularly in the Bint Jbeil district, through airstrikes and artillery shelling, marking an escalation in the security situation in the region. At the same time, the U.S. Secretary of State confirmed that Lebanon and Israel are engaging in productive negotiations and are close to reaching an agreement to cease hostilities between Israel and Hezbollah, which is supported by Iran.
