Car analyst doubts price hike rationale
The car market in Egypt is experiencing a slowdown due to rising shipping costs, especially for cars coming from China, where shipping prices have increased from $3,500 to $8,500 as a result of the repercussions of the US-Iran war. Despite a decline in the dollar's exchange rate and stabilized conditions, experts expect the market to remain stagnant unless prices decrease significantly. There are forecasts that the dollar may reach 47 Egyptian pounds, putting pressure on traders and leading to further price cuts.
