Iran cautions ships on Hormuz route
Iran has warned that ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz must only use the routes designated by Tehran, following an attack on a vessel off the coast of Oman. The Iranian Ports and Maritime Organization confirmed that unapproved routes do not guarantee safe passage, and that vessel owners will be responsible for any consequences resulting from their use. The International Maritime Organization temporarily suspended evacuation operations in the area after the attack on the ship, emphasizing the importance of ensuring maritime safety.
