Labor Ministry allocates 2.94B EGP for worker support
The Egyptian Ministry of Labor aims to protect workers and empower youth through two funds: the Emergency Social Insurance Assistance Fund and training and qualification programs. Since 2002 up to June 2026, approximately 2.94 billion Egyptian pounds have been spent. This investment seeks to provide a safety net for workers during crises and to develop their skills to meet the demands of the labor market, reflecting the state's vision that economic growth begins with investment in human capital.
