Egypt's milk output reaches 7 million tons
Egypt's milk production has increased to 7 million tons this year, representing an 8% rise compared to the previous year. This is part of the Ministry of Agriculture's plan to develop the livestock sector and enhance its efficiency. The ministry is supporting these projects through targeted financing mechanisms, in addition to establishing a model farm for improved buffaloes in western Minya with a capacity of up to 1,500 animals. There are also plans to expand the farm and improve the genetic breeds to boost productivity and achieve food security.
