What Has the Comprehensive Health Insurance System Achieved in Suez? Authorities Respond

The comprehensive health insurance system in Suez Province has achieved significant milestones after a year and a half of operation. It has provided over 7 million medical and treatment services, including 2 million primary care services and 26,000 surgical procedures. Additionally, the health infrastructure has been developed to accommodate 543 inpatient beds, 141 intensive care beds, and 27 pediatric beds. About 94% of healthcare facilities have been accredited, and more than 591,000 citizens have been integrated into the system. The province has also introduced advanced medical services such as heart surgeries, endoscopy procedures, and cochlear implants. There is an expansion plan underway to enhance the capabilities of the health system by establishing the largest medical complex and developing hospitals and clinics for family medicine, with all family clinics being digitized to improve operational efficiency and enhance the quality of care.
