Health campaign offers 11M free services
The Ministry of Health and Population launched the "100 Days of Health" campaign on August 1, 2026, with the goal of improving and expanding the quality of healthcare services in Egypt. To date, more than 10.9 million free medical services have been provided. On the eighth day of the campaign, approximately 8.6 million services were delivered across 13 different healthcare sectors, including therapeutic, primary, preventive, and specialized services. Efforts to raise awareness and promote health literacy were also organized. The campaign aims to enhance the efficiency of the healthcare system and achieve universal health coverage, with prescriptions issued for treatment at the state's expense and surgical operations performed for various cases.
