Alexandria improves Boulekl intersection
Alexandria Governorate is working to improve traffic flow in the Pollocki area by modifying the traffic design in collaboration with a road engineering consultant. The adjustments include separating the movement of vehicles heading from Abu Qir Road to La Vison Street from the main traffic flow, aiming to reduce conflict points and enhance traffic smoothness. Field follow-up has been conducted alongside directives to expand Abu Qir Road further and ensure its implementation adheres to standards, along with the placement of clear guidance signs to facilitate understanding of the new routes, all while preserving the existing trees in the area. This effort is part of ongoing initiatives to improve traffic movement and reduce congestion in one of the city’s most vital transportation corridors.
