Supply office reports widespread suspended cards
The Ministry of Supply and Internal Trade continues to receive complaints from owners of suspended ration cards through approximately 1,500 service offices and centers nationwide, with the aim of reissuing cards and making support available to eligible beneficiaries. Citizens are required to update their information electronically via the Egypt Digital platform or through 500 post offices, then submit supporting documents confirming their eligibility for support to the supply offices. The documents are reviewed, and the citizen is notified of the outcome of their appeal via a text message once the review is complete. These procedures are part of the ministry’s efforts to improve support services and ensure that beneficiaries are truly eligible in a fair manner.
