High school students warned on paid university enrollment
The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research warned students and parents against dealing with intermediaries or unofficial entities claiming to be able to facilitate admission to private and community universities in exchange for money. The ministry confirmed that applications and admissions are to be conducted through the official university websites following the established procedures, without the need for any intermediaries. It urged the public not to pay any amounts to secure admission in order to protect students from exploitation and extortion. Additionally, the ministry emphasized the importance of verifying information from official sources and communicating directly with the universities only.
