The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research announced the minimum admission scores for the first phase of university and institute coordination for the general secondary school (high school) for the Literary Section in 2026. The results included the admission thresholds for various disciplines, with the highest minimum score at 299 points for the Faculty of Economics and Political Science in Cairo, and the lowest at 230 points for the Faculty of Commerce and Correspondence Studies in Beni Suef. These thresholds assist students in selecting appropriate majors based on their results, while the most competitive areas are determined according to percentage ratios and specified scores.
