Qena Governor, Major General Dr. Mustafa El-Beblawi, announced the provision of 60 new service routes connecting Old Qena City with New Qena City. This aims to facilitate transportation and support the new urban expansion. The routes are designed to reduce the burden on citizens and students, especially with the upcoming opening of the new Qena Hospital, which will offer advanced healthcare services. Three primary routes have been allocated to cover all residential and vital areas, with clear routes organized to ensure regular service. Traffic campaigns will be intensified to ensure adherence to fares and routes, and strict penalties will be implemented for violators. This initiative is part of a developmental strategy to support the road and transportation network, meet the growing needs of residents, and promote urban expansion while easing mobility between the city and surrounding areas.
