Islam Osama responds to investigation
Reports have circulated that Golden Gate player Islam Osama Saad expressed his objection to the club’s decision to subject him to an investigation due to his absence from training since the start of the preparation period on August 5, 2026. The player responded in a post saying he received a letter from the club two days later confirming his suspension, freeze, and being put up for sale, pointing out that the management changed its stance at a time when they had previously announced his suspension. Islam confirmed that he has evidence supporting his position, while the club announced that he will be investigated by the legal department on September 8 concerning his absence from training, in accordance with internal disciplinary regulations.
