Procedures suspended in fake judge case
The competent court suspended the trial of the fake judge and others today, Thursday, on charges of fraud and embezzlement of citizens' money, under the pretense of being able to complete procedures for allocating housing units to them, until the court's verdict is issued. The case procedures included requests from the defense to have the defendant examined by forensic medicine, to scrutinize the seized weapon, and to summon the detective officer and witnesses for interrogation. The defense clarified that the accused obtained permission from a court official to take photographs, discussed his social and psychological circumstances and his role in the case, cast doubt on the type of weapon seized, and explained that his arrest was due to a prior financial dispute.
